For the Steak:
- 1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
For the Pasta & Sauce:
- 12 oz (340g) fettuccine or penne pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
2️⃣ Sear the Steak
- In a large pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak strips, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Stir in garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
3️⃣ Prepare the Creamy Garlic Sauce
- In the same pan, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring well.
- Add Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
4️⃣ Combine Everything
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
- Return the steak to the pan, mixing it with the pasta.
5️⃣ Garnish & Serve
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately with extra Parmesan cheese on top.
